All Coug’d Up Writer of the Month and Upcoming Site Updates for May
By Josh Davis
All Coug’d Up is starting a new tradition; Writer of the Month. Our writers continually do a bang-up job for us without the benefit of a paycheck and it’s high-time we begin recognizing them for it! Congratulations to our April winner, Kristian Lundgaard. We don’t release specific numbers publicly but Kristian produced 2 of the top 5 articles for the month by dropping the news of Peyton Bender’s commitment to WSU and quantifying the Positives and Negative’s of the Spring Game not long after.
Kristian works triple duty, writing for Hoopless In Seattle of the not-quite Seattle Sonics and for Musket Fire of the New England Patriots and still managed to pump out 18 articles on the month for ACU alone! That’s just fabulous work for our site! He was also all over the NFL Draft last weekend for both the Patriots and Cougs (although I’m hoping WSU has a little bit better representation in the draft going forward).
I would normally have a runner up, but there was definitely more than one that stood out so a big shout out to the entire team as ACU had its’ biggest month ever! A great job by the entire team, look forward to seeing the continued growth of our writers for you, the reader!
New on ACU
This month we have some huge upgrades and additions coming to the site. We’ll explain a couple of the more major additions as they come out but I’m pretty excited about the re-branding aesthetics we will be receiving as part of our package, including new logos for our site and social media packages at Twitter and Facebook (Be sure to follow us on Twitter @AllCougdup and our Facebook page @AllCoug’dUp.com for WSU to keep up on all the articles and news).
Along with the ever-evolving look of our pages all over the FanSided Network, All Coug’d Up will soon look sleeker and better than ever before! This is a small but welcome change to our site as we continue to grow into a leader for Cougar sports news and analysis in the Washington State community.
Keep tuning in daily for recruiting news and more as we hit Summer and get ready for Auburn on August 31st!
Go Cougs!
