PAC-12 South Update – Week 4

Arizona (4-0, 1-0)

Last week: Arizona quarterback, Anu Soloman, threw for 520 yards and 5 touchdowns in a last second win over California. Soloman lead the Windcats on a 36 point 4th quarter to win on a 47 yard hail mary to Austin Hill. At halftime Arizona was behind 28-6 and was only able to score a touchdown in the third quarter before scoring 5 touchdowns and a fieldgoal in the 4th.

Next week: Arizona State hosts UCLA on Thursday night for a top-15 matchup

USC (2-1, 1-0)

Next week: The Trojans host Oregon State on Saturday

Next week: The Bruins head to Arizona to take on Arizona State on Thursday

Utah (3-0, 0-0)

Last week: The Utes went into to the Big House and took on Michigan in a game that featured nearly a 3 hour delay before Utah finished out the game and left with a 26-10 win. Their quarterback – Travis Willson – was upended and landed on his head and would not return to the game. Michigan tied the game up at 10 with 5 minutes left in the second quarter and Utah didn’t let them score for the rest of the game.

Next week: The Utes host Washington State on Saturday in their conference opener.

Colorado (2-2, 0-1)

Last week: Colorado hosted Hawaii last week and was able to put up 21 first half points and didn’t need any more to secure the win as Hawaii only was able to put up 12. The Buffaloes out-gained Hawaii 405 yards to 286 yards and handled the Warrior with ease as they were not able to score a touchdown on the night.

Next week: The Buffaloes head to California to take on the Golden Bears
