Washington State vs Portland State: Preview, Odds, Live Stream, Where to Watch, TV Schedule
By Josh Davis
The Portland State Vikings travel to Pullman today to try and knock off the Washington State Cougars in an inter-divisional matchup between the FCS and FBS.
THE MATCHUP:
Portland State nearly took down the Oregon State Beavers in week one but couldn’t find a way to score enough points and lost 29-14. Then they played Western Oregon (a team a division below them) to a very close 45-38 victory. There’s no telling just how they’ll good or bad they might play in this one, but they have generally provided Pac-12 teams with some drama.
For Washington State, Mike Leach and Co. are very disappointed with their 0-2 start, especially Leach, who has called out his coaching staff after each game. The Cougs bring a lot of youth to the field on defense but they also bring experience at quarterback and a big wide receiver group, a must in any Air Raid attack. This game marks the first in Martin Stadium with the newly finished Football Operations Building, along with the many other new gimmicks and looks the stadium has added over the recent years and Summer.
ODDS:
There isn’t a line on this evening’s game, as there are no lines on FBS/FCS matchups.
