Style/Theme/Numeral Options
If you’ve been paying any attention over the time that Bill Moos has been here, you’re aware of the “Honor the past, Live the Present, Create the Future” mantra. Looking at this photo below of old Coug-helmets, we see that numerals were used some time ago on white helmets for the school. This is perfect for a helmet style that would do exactly that for WSU.
Moos has mentioned he never wants to bring the script back, which is fine, but Crimson or gray, I would be very excited about a white helmet that had a logo on one side and numerals in the updated Nike/Cougar font on the other. That would be a great helmet and give credence to the mantra of ‘past, present, future.”
Or how about a whole new helmet theme, putting “WAZZU” on the helmet in that new font, with the WSU logo on the other side!? Oh baby!
Two other interesting questions of note, do you go with Matte or Glossy helmets (I’m inclined to vote for the Matte style as I think it fits more of the rest of the WSU look) and what would look best, white on white, crimson or gray facemasks?
