The fight for Deone Bucannon is alive and well in the NFL Draft world. Teams are asking for pre-draft visits, and the list keeps growing.

He recently visited with the Indianapolis Colts and the Baltimore Ravens. According to a league source, Bucannon is now visiting the New England Patriots, and is set to visit the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday. The Philadelphia Eagles, the New York Jets, and the New York Giants are all in the plans for Bucannon later this month.

The former WSU safety is projected to be a second to third round draft pick, according to various mock-drafts online. He has a 4.49 second 40-yard dash and bench pressed 225 pounds 19 times. He had a 10-6 broad jump and a 36.5 inch vertical leap. He is ranked 82 overall on NFLDraftScout.com.

Bucannon is the ideal size for his position, who has determination and reads well on the field. His younger brother, David Bucannon, is a sophomore safety for the Cougs. It will be interesting to see how he develops in the position over the next three years.

I personally could see Bucannon playing for the Baltimore Ravens, but nothing is certain until the draft begins on May 8th. Where do you think Bucannon will end up? Comment your thoughts here at ACU below!
