Prediction and Early Impact:
Keith Harrington is a near clone of Rickey Galvin, who will be entering his fifth and final season at Washington State. He could tote the rock in a multiple RB system, but he is being brought in to bring shiftiness and toughness to the inside wide receiver position.
In his Tampa Bay Blue/Gray All-Star game he amassed over 300 total yards and 5 touchdowns. In an All-Star game, any game really, that’s a ridiculous number and points to his game-changing ability.
What will make him tough in the slot for Mike Leach and WSU is that Harrington is willing to run over people and also has the speed to outrun someone to the pylon if need be. We see him as a capable player but likely won’t get an opportunity to see the field until after this season, which we expect will be a redshirt, especially with Robert Lewis stepping in and Brett Bartolone returning to the rotation.
