The Washington State Cougars and the Utah Utes do battle in perhaps the most important game for each program this season. The Utes are trying to salvage whatever remains while the Cougs are trying to strap a rocket to their collective backs.
Washington State’s visit to Salt Lake City last year was simply brutal, but Utah at home is especially tough. Just ask Stanford how Rice-Eccles can make you feel. It’s like heading into the hell-fires of Mordor there and last year the Cougs were left beaten and burnt to ash after a 49-6 whipping.
This year it looked for all the world like Utah might be ready to take a step into the upper echelon of the Pac-12. Stanford proved to be merely an anomaly though, one of those Mordor memoirs. Since then the Utes have fallen to 4-6 with four losses in a row. The Cougars seem ready this time around and it’s the Utes’ turn to travel. Last time the Utes were in Pullman, they barely escaped with their lives in snowy overtime.
The game will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks at 12:30 p.m. PST and will be simulcast as a live stream online through Pac-12.com. You’ll have to provide your authentication through your cable provider (not all cable providers carry the Pac-12 Networks), but once you do you’ll be able to watch in full HD. You can also download the Pac-12 now app on your mobile device to catch the game if you can’t get to a tv or computer, though you’ll still have to provide your info there as well.
