5: Damante Horton
#6 in your programs folks, wearing a Cougar uniform. Deone Bucannon and Daquawn Brown have been all the rage over the past several weeks and deservedly so. But it’s Damante’s night, I feel.
He has been consistently around the ball making tackles, and dangerously close to another pick. He’s always finding a way to get his hands on the football but hasn’t quite secured one in a while. This seems like the night he’ll get one or two more as Taylor Kelly tries to force the ball to Jaelen Strong (#21). If this happens, the Cougars will win the football game. They could still win it in other ways but I don’t think ASU would overcome that.
