4. Arizona State Sun Devils – Maroon and Gold

Gone is the cartoon, in, a menacing trident. Nice improvement.
The dark maroon jerseys with the yellow on its way out look stunning. Basically the same colors as USC, but done in a desert flavor. The all encompassing logo helmets are too much, but the understated smaller logo looks great.
The unique mascot pushes the Sun Devils to the top, but pulling the package together shows great progress. The possibility of abandoning the yellow for a true gold might push ASU to the top of this list.
