3: Oregon State
The Beavs have to be a pick here because they are facing a surging Cougar team in what will be a crazy environment at Martin Stadium. OSU’s defense is weak against the pass (see game against Utah) and is missing their best pass rusher. Giving up over 400 yards a game does not bode well for the Beavs, but they did already beat the Utes in a shootout in a similar environment.
2: Arizona State
The Sun Devils will be coming into Pullman and in the recent past, them heading anywhere doesn’t seem to work out very well. ASU would roll at home in this game I’m pretty sure, but at WSU I don’t think they’ll play well. It should also be one of those “pressure games” that ASU is so known for choking in.
1: Arizona
I realize the Cougs generally don’t play well in Tuscon, but this is different. First, the Cougs aren’t scared of being on the road, second the Wildcats aren’t all that scary anyway, with their current quarterback in place. I have a good feeling about this road trip.
