Ok, this may surprise some people, but the O-line gets my highest grade and all because of a single number.

10.

That’s how many sacks the line has given up.

Ten.

After 57 last season… which means after 6 games the Cougars were sitting right around 25. Heck, the Cougs gave up 10 sacks to Stanford alone in 2012. They’ve already had Stanford this season, so the math looks dang good at this point. Still a lot of room for improvement though (sitting at 9th in the conference in that number, though they’ve played at least 1 more game than any other team). With a hobbled starter, they’ll need to get even tighter in their protection.

Maybe NuVo can send some condoms Connor Halliday’s way just to make sure he can get all secure for the second half of the season.
