The receiving corps has been really good, at times. But there are still far too many important plays that could be made that aren’t being made. I will say one thing, they are tougher than last season, it’s not even close and they’re getting tougher. But think about, for example, the four 3rd down drops against Stanford.

It is a big deal though, that seven receivers are averaging at least 10.28 yards per catch. That’s a lot of big play potential running around on the football field.

Let’s not forget to mention Gabe Marks, who has been amazingly consistent this season with 41 grabs for 478 yards and 4 touchdowns. One phrase says it all; Belitnikoff Award Watch List.
