Connor Halliday threw for an outstanding 521 yards and 3 touchdowns against California last weekend. Halliday will have to keep up games like this and will have to do some big things to keep up with the nation’s leading passer in Mannion.

The running game has not really been a big thing for the Cougars so far this season. If Washington State wants to win they will have to be an all around team and will have to also be able to run the ball when needed. In last week’s win the Cougars were tackled in their own endzone for a safety because they were unable to run the ball with their backs to their own goal line.

Teondray Caldwell scored his first career touchdown last week for the Cougars on a rushing touchdown. Jeremiah Laufasa also scored a touchdown on the ground, his fifth on the year.

With a good combination of both the ground game and the passing game the Cougars should be able to win this game.
