In a twist of fate, Paris Taylor went from hoping the Auburn Tigers would offer him a scholarship back in late December, to playing against them in week one of the 2013 season as a Washington State Cougar. Or at least he’ll be on the roster, as the junior college transfer will have 4 years to play 3 at Wazzu, which may bode well for a redshirt season. Generally that wouldn’t be the case with his size and I’m sure Leach wants to have him available, but he is still recovering from a serious knee injury from this past Fall.

Taylor is considered a physical safety, how could you not be while standing a diminutive 6’3″, 210 lbs?  He is in fact the perfect type of safety for a 3-4 defense, lots of range with his length and the size to be a linebacker when necessary. If he were to be ready to play (and he is sure that he will be 100% in time to practice and play against the Tigers, Taylor would give Breske a whole host of options, but that’s for another article.
