Mike Leach is one of the best offensive minds in the country and has been for years. He’s always fun to listen to as he’s never truly serious as he’ll always crack jokes from time to time.
It doesn’t matter what the circumstances are, even last year he somewhat attacked 710 ESPN Radio Host Jim Moore when he questioned why they had a bad season. This is the time of the year when you won’t hear too much regarding the team, but the times when Leach gives interviews it’s always a must listen.
Here is his quick interview with ESPN’s own Ted Miller, where he talks about how the spring practices went, how the QB competition is going, and even talks about the new college playoffs.
Here’s the link if you want to give it a listen, and I recommend that you do!

This a very interesting tweet from Mike Kuchar who just recently spoke with Washington State running back coach Jim Mastro.
I find this very interesting, as maybe they’ll try and add some new stuff into this offense next season. Leach and Mastro most likely had a vision for how these offenses would merge together and might of not had the chance to try it just yet. This was probably due to personnel. They clearly may have wanted to try this out and possibly didn’t think they had the right players for it to be successful. The read option clearly won’t be used much unless Austin Apodaca or Isaac Dotson are at QB.
