Marquess Wilson And The NFL: Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos

Stacked Against The Pick:

Dec 16, 2012; Baltimore, MD, USA; Denver Broncos helmet awaits use before the game against the Baltimore Ravens at M

The Broncos have a lot of talent at the top of the depth chart for the wide receiver position, coming in the way of Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, and Wes Welker; but after them, it’s a lot of unknowns; but in all honesty, John Fox could go out and play wide out, because Peyton Manning can make any receiver look good (ex: Blair White).  With that being said though, the Broncos could still use some more weapons for Mr. Manning, and that could play into Mr. Wilson’s favor, but more on that later.

With Denver already having top flight talent at wide out, they will be looking to shore-up their offense and defensive lines early in the draft. The Broncos are a deep team, so this draft will be all about adding more depth for them.

The Perfect Storm:

The Broncos just might be the perfect storm for Marquess. They won’t be looking to add a receiver until later in the draft, and if Wilson drops to the 6th, 7th round, the Broncos might just take a whirl on the young receiver.

The Denver locker room would be a perfect fit for Marquess to. With veterans like Peyton Manning and Wes Welker, it would give him the opportunity to learn how to be a pro, not only on the field but off it too, just what he needs. He could really blossom as their 4th or 5th receiver, a down field threat, who can go up and get the ball.

Likelihood of Getting Drafted By The Broncos:

A-  I would love to see Marquess go to Denver. There would be no pressure to perform, and he would be able to learn from the best. The Broncos need to add some depth to the position, and Wilson could just fall into their lap late in the draft.
