Stats: 23 Receptions, 212 receiving yards, and 4 TD’s.
What he accomplished in 2012: Since his Freshman season there has always been some hype about Kristoff Williams and we saw a few shades of what to expect this past season. Unfortunately due to injuries we weren’t able to see everything Williams had to offer.
He still had a very solid season and is one of the more stronger receivers that we have. When Williams was healthy and was on the field, he definitely made some nice plays for the Cougars. The receiving core really lacked consistency and injuries played a part of why Williams wasn’t able to contribute to the team as much as others thought he would.
What I expect in 2013: What Do I expect in 2013 for Williams? I have a little bigger expectation than most and some people aren’t taking him serious. But, if he indeed does stay healthy in 2013 I can definitely see him on the field a lot this season.
The key for what determines that outcome will definitely be Spring ball for him. If he impress the coaches early that’ll be a good sign on whether he’ll play a lot or not. I expect him to crack the starting rotation and will definitely be on the field quite often come week 1 when they face Auburn.
