Brock Motum carried the torch for Washington State this season and was recognized for his contributions by the Pac-12 Conference today, making the 2nd team ballot. Brock scored 18.4 points per game this season and pulled down 6.5 rebounds as well.
No other Cougar made so much as honorable mention (which requires 3 votes or more), though you have believe that Royce Woolridge is an early favorite to make at least one of these teams next season, should he carry his incredible play of late over.
Allen Crabbe from Cal won player of the year honors, Andre Roberson of Colorado was the conference’ best defender, UCLA led the way with 3 players on the 1st and 2nd teams and several teams had 2. Utah, Oregon State and USC were left without representatives, although each had at least one player make honorable mention.
