All Coug’d Up! is looking to continue to grow our fan experience with creative material written by the fans, for the fans! With the introduction of the Pac-12 and its’ Networks, and the continued remodeling of all campus facilities around Pullman, Washington State sports are on the rise and we are here to make sure they get covered like never before!

This is your opportunity to gain experience and credibility in a professional, online setting that is growing its’ reader base daily. You get to write about YOUR team the way YOU’VE always wanted. Additionally, if you’re looking for a stepping stone to grow your career and enhance your writing skills, we want to help you!

FanSided features all of our content on the most well known online web name in sports, Sports Illustrated. With this new partnership in place, the FanSided brand has exploded and is attracting literally MILLIONS of readers each month and only getting bigger.

Personally, I’ve found the experience incredibly rewarding since deciding to join the FanSided College Sports Network in 2012 as ACU’s editor and we have been building from ground-zero ever since.

With thousands of readers every month and growing, it’s obvious the Coug Faithful want to hear about their alma mater and we’re bringing them news that is striving to be different from any other Coug site on the web.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS: 

Beat-Writer for Any Washington State Sports Team

• Football, Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball, Soccer, Swimming, Golf etc.
• 1-2 articles per week

Beat Writer for Washington State Sports

• Game Updates, intruiging articles, team news
• 1-2 articles per week

Social Media/Blogging Associate

• General building of Facebook, Twitter accounts and any other social media outlet as provided
• Live-Tweet games, some related events (National Signing Day for example)
• Take seconds to add commentary to our accts and be done for the day, or interact w/ the Coug faithful for extended periods, it’s up to you!

Hub Updater 

• Non-writing
• Focused on finding related articles and adding them to our “Hub”
• 5-10 minute commitment every 2-3 days
