Prediction & How He Improves Cougars in 2013:
White isn’t the biggest wide receiver, only weighing 160 pounds, but the kid has potential. Given his size, I expect White to redshirt when he arrives in Pullman next year in order to put on some more weight and become a better overall player.
I think White’s weight is his biggest negative attribute but after watching his high school tape, White is a type of player that is explosive. He’s a type of player that is hard to take down because of his elusiveness and speed. He did it all in high school, from playing wideout to playing safety and even returning kicks.
He is considered to be an athlete because he played both safety and wide receiver, but has given indications that he will play wide receiver at WSU. White fits in well with this Air-Raid offense because he is a deep threat type of player, and can put his speed to good use on the long ball. I can see White lining up in the slot position and also returning kicks because of his explosiveness in the future.
