Former Washington State Big Man Aron Baynes to the San Antonio Spurs!

Well it’s official, the hard working Aussie and former Washington State University big man Aron Baynes is making the leap from the Euroleague to the NBA in the form a San Antonio Spur!
Baynes played collegiately at Washington State from 2005-09, where in 122 career games he averaged 8.7 points and 5.4 rebounds in 22.0 minutes. He Ranks on WSU’s all-time list in field goal percentage (eighth – .546), blocks (T-seventh – 93), rebounds (11th – 653), blocks average (14th – 0.76), free throws made (17th – 122) and scoring (23rd – 1064).. Aron was a crucial part to the Cougars run at the sweet 16 where they fell to the #1 seeded North Carolina Tarheels.
Baynes, 6-10/260, began his professional career in 2009-10 playing for Lietuvos Rytas of the Lithuanian Basketball League, a squad that went on to win the Lithuanian National Championship. In 2010-11 he played in Germany for EWE Baskets Oldenburg before joining Ikaros Kallitheas in Greece the following season.
