All Coug’d Up! Looking For Writers, Social Media Manager

All Coug’d Up! is looking to grow our fan experience with even more sports writers and a Social Media Manager to help handle our social Facebook and Twitter accounts, which are already up and running. With the introduction of the Pac-12 and its’ Networks, and the continued remodeling of all campus facilities around Pullman, Washington State sports are on the rise and we are here to make sure they get covered! All positions are purely volunteer (no pay) but are a really good opportunity to get experience and some credibility in a professional, online setting that is growing its’ reader base daily. You get to write about YOUR team the way YOU’VE always wanted.

Personally, I’ve found the experience incredibly rewarding since deciding to join the FanSided College Sports Network months ago as ACU’s editor and we have been building ever since. Our Coug fans want to hear about their alma mater and we’re bringing them news that is striving to be different from any other Coug site on the web. If you are a self-motivated starter with time on your hands and a desire to write about Cougar sports, this is the place for you!

Positions include, but are not limited to:

• Beat-Writer for Specific Washington State Team Sports (Football, Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball, Soccer, Swimming etc.)
• Beat Writer for All Washington State Teams (general sports coverage)
• Blog Manager
• Social Media Manager (general daily updates to Facebook, Twitter accounts and any other social media outlet as needed)
