Arizona Wildcats: Won 59-38 over Oklahoma St. Grade A++

What a terrific performance by Arizona, especially after what Oky St did to them last season. Tough to say this isn’t the best win for the Pac this week, and the Cats get to really let this win sink in while they destroy S.C. State this weekend.

Arizona State Sun Devils: Won 45-14 over Illinois. Grade A+

The Sun Devils for real? We said we’d find out against the Illini. However remember when we thought they were for real with the big win over Mizzou at home last season? Heading to The Zou this week…

Cal Golden Bears: Won 50-31 over Southern Utah. Grade B+

Cal left Southern Utah in this game way too long. It’s not looking promising heading to Columbus, but if they could pull the shocker, they would cement the Pac as a better overall conference than the B1G.

#20 Stanford Cardinal: Won 50-13 over Duke. Grade A

Good win for the trees. USC comes to town this week and it’s a pretty sure bet they’ll be better than Duke.

UCLA Bruins: Won 36-30 over Nebraska. Grade A++

This was really big for the Pac, and the Bruins. If they smash on Houston this week we’ll know they are going to be better than anticipated. In fact they might be really, really good. We know that Franklin’s really, really good.

#1 USC Trojans: Won 42-29 over Syracuse. Grade B+

Not a complete game for the Trojans, Stanford is going to be more physical than Syracuse and the ‘Cuse’ held their own.

Colorado Buffs: Lost 30-28 to Sacramento St. Grade D-

I think Fresno State makes the Buffs 0-3 this week and it’s really hard to see a win on the schedule after that.

#5 Oregon Ducks: Won 45-31 over Fresno St. Grade B+

Oregon deals with Fresno and gets their 3rd tune up game against Tennessee Tech this week.

Oregon State Beavers: Won 10-7 over #13 Wisconsin. Grade A++

The Beavers really impressed against the Badgers. Aren’t these guys known for starting slow? Perhaps their not the same Ole’  OSU. They get to enjoy it with a bye this week.

Utah Utes: Lost 27-20 to Utah St (OT). Grade C-

This is one of the most disappointing losses this week for the Pac. BYU is coming, BYU is coming!

Washington Huskies: Lost 41-3 to #3LSU. Grade D-

Not that they weren’t expected to lose, but they did not look up to snuff after the first drive of the game. Pretty embarrassing considering their buildup. Back to the hype after Portland State this week, LOL.

Washington State Cougars: Won 24-20 over EWU. Grade C+

WSU had a chance to bring their fans back with one more yard. But instead a 17 point win turned into 6 inches from a loss on a Hail Mary. Much improvement is necessary against UNLV, whom the Cougs routed last year.
