Mark’s predictions:

Utah 38 – N Colorado 10
UCLA – 24 – Rice 17
N Arizona 10 – Arizona St 24
Wazzu 38 – BYU 28
SJSU 7 – Stanford 35
Nevada 6 – Cal 31
Nicholls 3 – OSU 27
Colorado St 17 – Colorado 31
Hawaii 6- USC 52
SDSU 42 – UW 35
Arkansas State 10 – Oregon 56
Toledo 17 – Arizona 31

Caleb’s predictions:

NC @ Utah – look for the utes to come out strong with a 3 pos win. 42-21

Ucla @ Rice – rice is going to be tougher than most people think in this game but watch ucla to cruise to a win as they pull away in the 2nd half. 28-17

NA @ ASU. Arizona state should take this on with ease. Simple w for asu 34-14

WSU @ BYU – watch a close game in this match up as wsu takes home a narrow w from (the other cougars) 34-31

SJSU @ Stanford – although Stanford will be tough this year expect them to find themselves in a close game against sjsu but they will win this one. 28-17

Nevada @ Cal – I think cal will struggle more than expected in this game. Nevada should edge out a win here 31-28

Nicholls @ OSU – even though osu won’t be much improved this year, they will handle this one 34-10

Csu @ Colorado – I have a feeling Csu will take this one due to the fact Colorado is still rebuilding. 21-14

Hawaii @ USC – sc is back and they’ll come out strong! Winning this one 42-24

SDSU @ Washington – uw is going to be difficult this year I give them the win 24-14

Ark st @ Oregon – uhhh yeah ou 42-10

Toledo @ Arizona – upset? I think Toledo has a chance if they can put up over 25 so I say 28-24 toledo.

Josh’s prediction’s:

N. Colorado 6 @ Utah 31: Utah has won 4 straight season openers, make it 5!

Ucla 38 @ Rice 24: Bruin fans get super excited about Jim Mora’s first win and suddenly put Ucla is in the discussion as a Pac-12 contender… Poor Bruin fans need a reality check.

N. Arizona 21 @ Arizona St. 27: State survives a scare to begin the Todd Graham era.

Washington St. 42 @ BYU 38: I want to believe the Cougs can blow this thing open, and they will, before they give up a big lead and end up barely holding on.

SJSU 13 @ Stanford 32: Not sure how Stanford gets to 32 points, but I feel like 4 tds and 2 safety’s is an excellent possibility.

Nevada 13 @ Cal 24: Cal’s defense scores the deciding points in this one, creating at least 5 turnovers to keep Nevada out of the win column and christen the New Memorial Stadium.

Nicholls St. 18 @ Oregon St. 24: It’s time to start panicking again Beav fans, OSU is just simply not good in the first 4 or 5 games under Riley. Sacramento State came in last year and won, this year Nicholls? Not quite.

Colorado St. 31 @ Colorado 16: Oh man, the Buffs have a quarterback issue. Rams get the win they should’ve got last year.

Hawaii 9 @ USC 51: Trojans are ramped up, Warriors just can’t match up anywhere.

SDSU 21 @ Washington 23: Huskies are going to have the better talent, but the Aztecs are going to scare them just like EWU did last season in Seattle.

Arkansas St 3 @ Oregon 63: The Ducks have weapons everywhere, the Red Wolves, not so much.

Toledo  28 @ Arizona 17: Remember Rich Rod’s first season at Michigan? Yeah, the boo birds will come out again this year. Arizona just not as good as advertised.

Summary: So there is week one in our Pac predictions. Evan has the conference going undefeated in week 1, while Mark has only the Huskies losing the opener. Caleb has 3 Pac-12 losers in week 1 and I am the second to predict that only 1 Pac-12 team will lose. And finally, what kind of Coug fans would we be if we thought the Cougs were actually going to lose in Mike Leach’s first game back in Provo? Actually there’s a bunch that do, but we don’t subscribe to that theory… soooooo, 1-0! Be back later in the week to give you our week 2 predictions.

Go Cougs!
