I tell ya there’s nothing more beautiful (on a football field at least) than the Nike Crimson and Gray’s that are rolled out on a weekly basis for our football players to perform in against the rest of the Pac-12 Conference. Since Nike took over making such things for Cougar sports, the uniforms have been as slick as ever and the combinations are surprisingly many.

Washington State hasn’t quite reached Oregon levels, but they are certainly on par with any other program in the conference when it comes to available options. A classic favorite has always been the away uniform for me, crimson/white/crimson from head to toe (used at Auburn and USC). But in 2013 we got to see several other road unis that I ended up loving as well. The gray/white/gray combination for the Apple Cup seems like it might be dreary, but it gave a quite classiness to the Cougs in Seattle. There was also the pretty combo against Arizona, crimson/white/gray that gave a Neapolitan feel and offset so nicely.

While I like the home unis as well, I just like the “pop” of the crimson and gray when combined with the white. At any rate, here’s a look at all the possible uniform combos for Washington State football. The final view of 16 is not all that are available or shown throughout the clip, so keep a careful eye out as some others pop up throughout the short vid.

Go Cougs!
