Arizona State vs. Oregon, 42-16

The most shocking upset of the week, even the year, is Arizona’s sweep against Oregon 42-16 on Saturday. Ka’Deem Carey scored four touchdowns on the night, and ran for 206 yards. Wildcat’s Terrence Miller was the receiving leader of the night with 88 receiving yards and a touchdown. De’Anthony was quoted saying he doesn’t care about going to a Rose Bowl because Oregon has been there, done that. Duck’s Josh Huff said he didn’t want to go to a Rose Bowl without going to the national championship. Now the hopes of both a national championship and a Rose Bowl are destroyed for Oregon.

Washington State vs. Utah, 49-37

Washington State battled it’s way into bowl eligibility on Saturday against Utah, winning 49-37. Cougar quarterback, Connor Halliday, had a strong game passing 488 yards for four touchdowns. Ute’s running back, Kelvin York, ended with 2 touchdowns and 94 yards on the night. This was Utah’s fifth consecutive loss after upsetting Stanford.

Stanford vs. California, 63-13

Stanford swept California, 63-13, Saturday. Cardinal wide receiver Ty Montgomery matched a school record with 5 touchdowns on the night, catching for 160 yards and rushing for 31. Quarterback Kevin Hogan was the passing leader of the night with with 329 yards, throwing for 5 touchdowns. The game was Cal’s 10th consecutive loss! A disappointing count for coach Sonny Dyke’s debut season.

Arizona State vs. UCLA, 38-33

Arizona State, ranked 17, battled to beat 14th ranked UCLA, winning 38-33 to win the PAC-12 South. Sun Devil quarterback, Taylor Kelly, threw for 225 yards and a touchdown, and rushed for 99. Sun Devil’s Marion Grice rushed for 95 yards. Bruin quarterback Brett Hundley passed for 253 yards with an average of 9.7, and a touchdown. ASU’s Jaelen Strong had 6 catches for 91 yards and a touchdown. The win put the Sun Devils in a good spot to go to the Rose Bowl.

USC vs. Colorado, 47-29

The Trojans claimed victory against the Colorado Buffs, 47-29, Saturday.
One obstacle both teams had to overcome was the weather, with kickoff at 29 degrees. Trojan sophomore Javorius Allen rushed for a career high of 145 yards and 3 touchdowns. Trojan’s Cody Kessler passed for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns, averaging 6.6 yards. Buff quarterback Sefo Liufau was the passing leader of the night by 4, with 188 yards and two touchdowns. This win tallied USC’s sixth in the PAC-12.

Washington vs. Oregon State, 69-27

The Huskies dominated Oregon State for their first away game win in conference play, 69-27, on Saturday. Bishop Sankey ran for 179 yards and three touchdowns. Husky redshirt freshman Cyler Miles made his first college start, and threw for 162 yards and a touchdown. Beaver quarterback Sean Mannion threw for 229 and a touchdown, averaging 5.6. He also threw for 3 interceptions. The Huskies are now 7-4 overall, 4-4 in conference.
