Oregon vs. Stanford, 20-26

Hopes of a National Championship slipped through Oregon’s fingers Thursday for the second year in a row, marking their first loss on the season. The Ducks rallied to the finish, making a comeback from 26-0, but fell short at the finish with a failed on-side kick. Time ran out and Stanford ended the day with a victory. Running-back Tyler Gaffney scored a touchdown and took first in rushing yards with 157. Quarterback Marcus Mariota passed for two touchdowns and 250 yards.

Southern California vs. California, 62-28

USC beat California in Berkeley, Saturday, with a comfortable lead. Running-back Javorius Allen scored three touchdowns for USC. Wide receiver Nelson Agholor scored three touchdowns on punt returns, also increasing the Trojans’ lead. The switch of head coach from Lane Kiffin to Ed Orgeron, former USC assistant coach, seems to be working in the Trojans’ favor.

Arizona State vs. Utah, 20-19

The game was a close call Saturday for Arizona State, beating Utah by one point, in Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday. Defensive tackle Will Sutton captured an interception, ending the hope of an upset for the Utes. ASU quarterback Taylor Kelly was the passing leader of the night with 144 yards and a touchdown.

Washington vs. Colorado, 59-7

A near shutout for UW, another loss for Colorado. The Huskies and Buffs faced off Saturday in Seattle. Husky quarterback, Keith Price, threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third, helping to beat the Buffs and become bowl eligible. UW tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins scored a touchdown and 62 yards for the night. Buffs wide-receiver Paul Richardson scored on a 53 yard touchdown and had 77 yards.

UCLA vs. Arizona, 31-26

UCLA pulled out a win against Arizona Saturday in Tuscon. Bruin quarterback Brett Hundley passed for two touchdowns and 227 yards. UCLA linebacker Myles Jack ran for 66 yards to score a touchdown and help put the Bruins in front of the Wildcats. Arizona running back Ka’Deem Carey took first in rushing for the night with 149 yards.
