Martin Stadium: Football Operation Update and Crimson Endzones?

The progress is starting to come along pretty well. As I’m sure all of you know, the scoreboard has recently been removed and now they’re working on some ground work around that area. This is about the time where you’ll definitely want to tune in daily to the web-cam on Oxblue.com. Once this project is finally complete, Martin Stadium will be done with the renovations they’ve desperately needed for quite a long time.

Earlier on today, The Cougar Football Project updated us with a few pictures that really can show us what is happening compared to the web-cam that is a pretty far distance away (below)

Crimson End-zones?:

I decided to email John Johnson a few weeks back to see what the deal was on the crimson end-zones and I actually got a response from him. This what Mr. Johnson had to say;

“This Fall or next Fall, depending on construction”

I’m sure this gets all of you pumped up like it has me, because this is something I’ve wanted to see for quite some time. I do hope it’s this Fall instead of next Fall.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated throughout the construction process.
