Washington State Cougars vs Arizona State Sun Devils: GameDay Huddle

Has it been 11 days already?
Silly question, yes it’s been at least that long… right? Both the Cougs and Devils are eager to get back onto the field tonight after a week and a half off. The Cougs needed it more so that’s good but at the same time I hate the wait of nearly two weeks. The negative side for Cougar faithful after tonight is that it’s going to be 16 more days before we see our team in action again.
With that in mind, a loss tonight against a terrible (sorry Devil fans) road team on a decidedly advantageous cold evening would be a devastating blow to morale for just about everyone in a Cougar costume. With three more home games and five wins already ASU can definitely afford this loss. But if Wazzu loses tonight, that will make three in a row, with 16 days to think about it and a trip to Arizona wouldn’t make things any better.
Basically, while it’s far from being a season-defining game it is pretty crucial!
Overall, I’m just anxious to watch my team play again in a game we can expect to win. It’s been a few weeks since that was the case. Let’s get this!
