Offensive Line

As I mentioned before, the offensive line has to give Halliday the time in the pocket to get rid of the ball and to make smart decisions. For the first few games of the season the offensive line did a great job at protecting Halliday, in the most recent games they have been slacking at that a little.

The Sun Devils have 17 sacks so far this season and have 5 players on defense that have 2 or more sacks. The offensive line can’t let the defense get to Halliday or this game will not go well for the Cougars.

When it comes to the ground game the line will have to give the running backs the space to break one free. Arizona State is a very good team and the Cougars have to take advantage of everything that comes their way.
