It’s time! Finally we get to see all the new improvements from over the Summer and just recently, in action!
Of course, more importantly, the Cougs get the chance to go 2-1 on the season against a team that they should handle, well… handily. I know the team can’t look ahead but I can(!) and I’m super-stoked about the possibilities that lie in the near future. I’m sure all you Coug fans out there are most certainly feeling the same way and some of you must be planning a Seattle trip for the meeting with Stanford.
Let’s back up to today though. I need to see this team thoroughly dominate a team that they should beat. Remember last season, Colorado came in and ruined our mood, and yes, our season. There was no recovering from that devastating loss and a case could be made that even though the Cougs are obviously more mentally strong this season, the recovery process from a stupid loss either this week or next would be too much to overcome. So yeah, we need to see the Cougs finish this one by 4 touchdowns!
Let’s not over-analyze this if it’s less (a win is a win is a win) but a full game from this team is most important today. I’m just ready to get to the stadium early to see all the improvements and then get this Cougar home season underway.
GO COUGS! Let’s get this!
