Washington State vs Idaho Set For 7:30

It was announced on Monday afternoon that the Washington State vs Idaho rivalry game, The Battle of the Palouse, will kick off at 7:30 and will be televised on PAC-12 Networks. The game will be held in Pullman at Martin Stadium on September 21st. This game will also be during homecoming weekend for the Cougars.

The last time the Cougars played the Idaho Vandals it was 2007, the Cougars have won the last 7 times the game has been played. The Cougars hold the all time record at 70-16.

Washington State is 1-1 and just coming off an upset of USC and will play Southern Utah before they face the Vandals.

Idaho on the other hand is 0-2 and is coming off two brutal loses. The Vandals played North Texas in their opener where they lost 40-6. In their second game the Vandals faced Wyoming where they lost 42-10.  This weekend they play at home against Northern Illinois.

The two schools are separated by less than 8 miles. In the past, when the rivalry was bigger, the loser of the games students had to walk back to their respected campus along Washington State Route 270.
