WSU Football: New Video Board Getting Close to Finishing Stages At Martin

facebooktwitterreddit

Washington State is unveiling a brand new video board next Saturday against Southern Utah at Martin stadium, along with a ribbon board on the facade of the club level seats below the press box. If you didn’t see that news among the mass of coverage leading up to week 1, take a look at Lew’s article that gives all the deets on what we can look forward to seeing. For now though, here’s the tweet from Cougar fan Brett Gleason that got me all excited today:

Again, this is another big step in the refurbishment of Martin Stadium. The football program is about to become top notch because of things like this new state-of-the-art video board (including the ribbon board), the new football facility, endzone renovations and eventually the planned crimson endzones for 2014.

Bill Moos and Mike Leach are really making the University look great and this stadium, small as it is, will be ready to legitimately host a Pac-12 Championship game in the very near future. Of course that all hinges on WSU becoming good enough at some point to win the North, but the point is the stadium will be that kind of venue. The question still remains in the future, do Moos and Co. decide to go after additions to the seating on the Student Section side of the stadium. Only time will tell.

Go Cougs!
