This hasn’t been a very good week regarding Washington State football players and the police. Earlier on in the week, NT Toni Pole was arrested for making false statements. In my opinion, I’m not too concerned about Pole getting into serious trouble but it’ll be different in terms of what Caldwell’s punishment will be.

It’ll be interesting to see how these issues are handled by the coaching staff. Caldwell was scheduled to have a court appearance this morning for potential assault and burglary charges, KQQQ reported. If he is founded guilty of these charges, Caldwell may end up being in serious trouble with Coach Leach.

Mike Leach has three main rules that you don’t do or you’ll be removed from the program. Those three main rules for his team are that you don’t do drugs, hit women, and that you don’t steal. Former WSU NT Anthony Laurenzi was caught stealing headphones from a local store last year, and was kicked off the team not long after that event. This could be a big blow for the Cougars horrendous running game. This will cause Daniel Jenkins to be the main man next season, along with Gerard Wicks possibly.

I’m sure we will hear something regarding his court appearance in the early/late afternoon today. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on this story and the many details that are revealed in the upcoming days.
