Right after the NFL draft ended, the UDFA signing period began and tons of players started to sign and it was only a matter of time until Jeff Tuel was one of them. According to his twitter account, Jeff Tuel has signed with the Bills.

This is some great news, as this guy has battled through his whole career and will finally get his shot. He’ll be headed to Buffalo ready to compete. There will be some competition there as they don’t have a starting QB, though E.J. Manuel will be the favorite as they drafted him in the first round. Eastern Washington WR Brandon Kaufman signed with the Bills as well, and him and Tuel worked out with each other preparing for the NFL Draft. Those are two very good signings for the Buffalo Bills.

This is the perfect situation for him, as many thought the New England Patriots would be a nice fit but this was perfect. He may not get the chance to work under a great QB like Brady or Manning but he will be able to learn right away and possibly win the job if things goes his way. It may be a long shot right now, but given this chance he’ll take advantage of his opportunity without question.

The Bills have been intrigued about Jeff Tuel for quite some time as they scheduled him for a two day visit back on April 8-9. From what I’ve read it looks like this is a 3 year deal with the Buffalo Bills.

Congrats to Jeff Tuel, you deserve it!
