Stacked Against the Pick:

The Steelers are a team that are in a lot of need and have been struggling lately going 8-8 this past season and need some rebuilding over these next few seasons. In the receiving corps the Steelers have 7 receivers two of which have been in the league for 10+ years and three were rookies this past year. A receiver wouldn’t be a bad pick for them in this draft even though they need a few players in other positions first. If Wilson is around in the later rounds of the draft Wilson would not be a bad idea for them to pick up.

The Perfect Storm:

Wilson has shown that he can go up and catch the ball, at 6’4 he has the height advantage over quite a few corners in the NFL. According to the Steelers roster he would be the third tallest receiver on the team with the other two being Plaxico Burress and Derek Moye both at 6’5. With the struggles that Burress has gone through and the amount of time he has spent in the league he would be a great mentor to Wilson, this will be Burress’ 13th season.

Likelihood of Getting Drafted by Steelers:

B+, with the amount of help the Steelers need and the ability that Wilson has I see this as a higher probable draft for themm
