Washington State Football Recruiting Nuggets: New Scout Rankings Jump Cougs to No. 41

The new rankings from Scout are out, just in time for National Signing Day and the Cougs benefited from the changes! Scout has the most complete rankings in college football in my book and now has Washington State as the #41 ranked class so far.

The quick look of our class is mapped out below, but let’s quickly jump through the individual movement. Remember stars are out of 5 possible, NR (not ranked) didn’t mean they were off-the-board bad, but rather that the player has/had not been evaluated yet for his position. Also, the number associated with each player is their overall Nat’l Position Rank.

  • DT Daniel Etuale moved from NR to 92, 3 stars
  • WR Charleston White moved from NR to 254, 2 stars
  • S Montrel Meander moved from NR to 142, 2 stars
  • ATH Isaac Dotson is listed now as a S and moved to 84, 3 stars
  • DE Paulo Lepua moved up three spots to 41
  • CB Daquan Brown moved down two spots to 64
  • DE Emmitt Su’a-Kalio moved from NR to 194, 2 stars
  • OT Matt Meyer moved up twelve spots to 59
  • C Carlos Freeman moved up eight spots to 25, up to 3 stars
  • S Darius Lemora moved from NR to 179, 2 stars (*injury related)
  • DT Gerald Sterling moved down one spot to 83
  • OG Cole Madison moved up two spots to 42
  • MLB Peyton Pelluer moved up eighteen spots to 51, up to 3 stars
  • WR River Cracraft moved up six spots to 159
  • CB Markell Sanders moved down fifteen spots to 143 (*injury related)
  • OT Cody O’Connell moved down twenty-five spots to 132 (*injury related)
