Wait, before you jump the thread title, Husky fans, let me finish the sentence: My dislike for Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Keith Price runs only jersey deep. There, chill out just a moment, breathe. Ya good? Sweet let’s continue.

I’m a highly classified Cougar, if only in my own opinion and will never love the combo of Purple and Gold (even though it somehow looks really good lined up against the Crimson and Gray, and in particular in the years of Cougar victory in the Apple Cup). I hate the University of Washington, with a passion that is unrelenting and I must admit a little bit un-explainable in nature. Also, I can’t stand an actual husky dog, even though the actual dog is a bit majestic in stature.

As much as I hate the tradition of UW, Seferian-Jenkins and Price are class acts. Anyone who’s ever seen them on camera not during a play in a game has seen how humble they are and I respect that about them. I also envy the fact that they have another game to play in Las Vegas. I’m looking forward to watching those two for one more season in their ugly uniforms.

Don’t get me wrong, I will certainly be routing against them in every game, but I’ll enjoy watching them play the game the right way, especially if at the end of next season they can find a way to keep the Cup in Pullman for a second straight year.
