Klay Thompson and Team USA :

A lot of Cougar fans didn’t know that Klay Thompson was selected to be a part of the USA select team that will practice against the USA team. Which ended yesterday and he is now practicing with Golden State’s summer league team. Klay had to guard some of the top players like LeBron, Kobe, Kevin Durant. For a guy that needs to improve his defense… he had to go against the league’s best but it’s good for Klay.
Lots of the players gave praise for Klay Thompson noting that he is a very great shooter, which he did show during the practices. Kobe Bryant had this to say about Klay Thompson “I really like Klay a lot!”
There wasn’t very much news about how Klay did because it wasn’t very long and it wasn’t an open practice for just anyone. But It’ll be good to see how well he does in Summer League on NBA TV. I was able to find some clips on YouTube, not so much of him playing but others talking about him.
