Washington State’s 1916 Rose Bowl

As part of WSU’s “Honor the Past” Campaign, the University has released some very old football footage of our notable teams. I gotta admit, I watch this reel and I have flashbacks of all the old school football films I’ve seen over the years. Haha, I feel like I’m watching a 3 stooges movie with all the mud and this great music. It’s kinda weird to see us called Washington and the Warriors doesn’t quite fit either. Then there’s the fact that I can’t really tell who’s who… but who cares? It’s awesome! Here is the 14-0 Rose Bowl victory in all its black and white Cougar glory!
